My tailspot blenny was simply too curious. He swam inside one of the MP40 wet side covers while all pumps were off while doing maintenance. When I restored the power I heard a terrible sound and thought the pump was unbalanced. To my horror, Benny the Blenny was chewed up and spat out like old gum.

RIP Benny - you will be missed..... Even though you killed my favorite clam.....

That sucks! had same thing happen to my mandarin a few years ago. :(

Sorry to hear that Bro... It's part of the hobby.

Death by powerhead is a nightmare I've had more than once. Blenny Purée... sad.

Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to my blenny once but luckily I always put my apex on feed mode after maintenance where the mp40s are programed to run at 3% power. That gave my blenny the signal to get the hell outta there

Sorry to hear that. I need to start checking my vortech before I restart it.

Eww... We all mourn the dea.... Check that... We all CELEBRATE the *life* of Benny the Blenny! In all seriousness.. Sorry for your loss!
