Lost a Flame Hawkfish tonight

Hello,

I lost a Flame Hawkfish tonight. I got him last weekend. He was doing great until today when I got home from work. He didn't come out to feed during the fishes dinner. I found him underneath a rock chilling, and noticed a white spot on his head. He later came out onto the sandbed, before I mowed the lawn, and swam around a little bit, but the spot on his head really bothered me. Figured I would mow the lawn and check on him, well I came back inside to find him upside down in the sand bed. Does anyone know what could have killed him, it looks like a hole on the side of his head. Could it be parasites? I am pretty bummed, I have been wanting to get a hawkfish for a while now.

No, today was the first day I noticed anything was wrong. Crazy how fast he made a turn for turn for the worse though

Gram negative infection was my thought as well.
