Looks like my heater stuck on still reading reading 77.4 but when I started verifying water parameters temp was at 87.9 Lots of Ice and small water changes trying to drop the temp over time. I have worked back slowly to 82 on top and 81 on bottom with no additional loss. I am going to see if I can get back to about 78 before I stop the ice and water. I will be looking for a controller now....lol should i try to feed to bring stress down?

I wouldn't try to feed. Just continue to bring your temp down slowly and hopefully everything else will be fine...reef keeper needs to be in your future :)

Yes I think it was a bad probe or controller. It was set to come on at 74 and go off at 79. I stayed right at 77.8 and when I checked the temp was 87.9 and the controller read 77.4 and continued to read that even after I cooled it down. Coral is still very unhappy just hope it is not toast. Zoas in the bottom of the tank appear ok but others not so much.
