Lost my firefish :(

I broke down my DT yesterday and moved my 4 fish over to a temporary 24g nanocube. I filled the tank with the DT water and put some LR from my sump in there for them to hide in.

Came home today and the lights were up and my firefish was dead It went through QT and was in my DT for 2 weeks and was eating fine as of yesterday. I did a FW dip and nothing came off.

Any ideas? The other fish seem fine. The clown is hiding, which is a little odd, but the other two are out and about.

Stress, aggression, ammonia spike from stirring up all kinds of junk during the move? Could have been one or more of many things when we are talking about moving fish from one tank to another smaller one.

I was thinking stress. The water in there was pulled before I stirred anything up. I don’t think it was ammonia.

Only thing obvious to me is a tattered tail fin.

So sorry. My Firefish was my first fish in my tank when I started. He survived a jump and flop on the floor when I first purchased him at the lfs and two more times at home. Other fish have come and gone and this guy has been there from the beginning.
