Well looks like it might have died from natural causes but not really sure of it... he was a cool little guy.

I have a snowflake clown that looks a little upset now because of the loss of her buddy/ dance partner.

I can not remember if I need to get a larger one or smaller one to put into the tank, The one that passed was the smaller one and I'm not sure if the larger one started the process of turning. I do know the little one danced around a little fluttering and the larger one kept the smaller one in check.

Incase you are wondering, the large one is about 3 inches in length, and the smaller one was 2.5 inches max size

Bummer! :(

I would opt for a smaller one as a replacement.

Yes error on the side of caution and go smaller.

FYI my clown grieved for months after loosing it's mate. I never knew fish could be so human.

My snowflake is just going around the tank like she is still looking for the other clownfish... it is actually sad.
I went down to the LFS today to see if they had another one I could pick up and toss in QT for a week, but they had nothing that looked eye pleasing. The lines looked fades, or they were asking $60+ for one I actually though was the best out of the bunch.... Kind of strange the fluctuation on fish prices throughout the year.. I pick up my pair for $20 each.

Looks like I will be waiting a bit longer...
