Hi all. Sadly I lost my Angel today. Can anyone help ID the disease? She was hiding for a few days. I lost a lawnmower Blenny a couple of weeks ago but couldn't find his remains. He was the last fish added about 4 weeks ago. Other tankmates are a clown and two Cardinals. No signs of illness in them.

Were those discolorations/light areas there before he died?

I honestly didn't notice anything. Until I took the photo I didn't really notice the redness around the head or discolouration.

The sore looking area above the gills seems quite obvious now though.

IF those were there before the fish died, I would suspect a bacterial infection: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/bacterial-infections.191511/

However, it could also just be postmortem decay. Bacteria will begin eating a dead body very rapidly.
