My snail order that shipped out last Tuesday and was promptly lost by USPS for several days is finally arriving tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it. $70 worth of dead snails is going to be so nasty. That is all.

I would not even open the bags cuz holy crap... dead snail smell is the worst

hopefully you've already began contact with the vendor for a reimbursement or reshipment.

Yeah, thats why im not looking forward to this. I feel like I should at least take them outside and drain the bags though.

No concerns with the vendor. Just lamenting the cleanup and dreading the smell...

Mmmm, escargot. :face-with-spiral-eyes: Let me guess, Reefcleaners? Sim thing happened to me a while back. John was great in sending another batch but I question the whole multi day USPS option.

I had the same exact thing happen. In fact, the replacement shipment that was resent via UPS overnight arrived before the original. I opened the box and saw a bunch of bags full of brown water and took the box directly to the curb.

After 8 days in transit, I am shocked to say there are survivors!

Bumblebee snails, tongan nassarius, nerites, and 1x emerald crab are tough SOB's!

RIP Trochus, 2x emerald crabs, ceriths, and knobby creepers.
