you're the one that had me sold on them being great skimmers. heck your tank looks amazing and you said you have the g5. I thought about getting the g6, but it's too crazy expensive for how little more power it has over the g5. how much were you able to get yours for?

cant remember exactly but it was somewhere around 500. I decided to go with the g5 instead of the g6 because the g6 uses 3 pumps and the extra electricity and one more pump to replace if it fails is just too much to worry about. I can contact the guy I got mine from and see what he says.

cool. sounds good. I would love to know what he could get me one for. also have you looked into the g4? is it near as good as the g5? I know the g5 is pretty kick butt.

found one right around 520.00 that was the best I had found though. normally 570.

edit:just found one for 504.97+shipping.
