My drain is creating a lot of bubbles. It’s soft tubing draining to a chamber that overflows to 4” sock cut outs. Any tips on fixing or modifying something?

salty beat me to it.
Also unless it's leaving salt residue, no worries

I think you need one of those bubble eating fish. They suck up all the bubbles and then pass one big one.hahahahahahahahaha
Salty has the answer above

Extend the tube into the sock or under the waterline

That’s just it. The end of the hose is nearly on the bottom of the water chamber, which is about 7 inches deep. There is no sock, that chamber overflows to the socks.

This shows the chamber, behind the black wall.

Since the tube is underwater 7" where are the bubbles?
Do they come out of the tube?
Is it from the overflow into the sock chamber?
Are your sock cuts outs causing the bubbles?
Do you have socks in those cut out?

I don’t know if they are coming out of the tube itself or just that chamber.
There is no baffle over to the sock deck and no I don’t currently have any socks in the holes.

Also make sure there are no dips in that drain hose. Need to be angled down through the complete run to your sump.

That’s a trip.
Micro bubbles coming down and out ? Odd.

Maybe we should be asking waht you wash the socks in?

So you get the same foam with no sock?

Looks pretty good. This spot may be an issue. It releases up and down causing the syphon to speed up and slow down.

And I only say all this from experience. I eventually swapped mine for pvc with a slight angle downward and helped a ton with bubbles and sump level stability.

Like others has stated make sure the end of the hose/pipe is also deep in the water

Yes same bubbles with or without socks.

Yours or anyone’s experience is what I’m asking for, don’t feel bad about giving it.
Something I just thought of based on your comment, the drain pipe isn’t “full” meaning I can watch the water come down the pipe kind of like a water slide.
