Sorry guys, I know I have a lot of problems with my tank. But... It is running lol so I have 2 clowns, a 6 line, a small starfish, 2 small crabs and about 12-14 snails all different types. On a 29 gal tank with about a .8-1.0 inch sandbed and about 25 lbs live rock. I primarily feed pellets once a day for about 30 seconds, but adding small pellets slowly to ensure they are consumed not just dropped into the sand. And every night I dose 1.5 ml no3po4-x and I cant get rid of diatoms and I can't get my nitrates lover than about 6-8.... I'd like to rid of diatoms and get nitrates under 4... Any suggestions?

The diatoms will go away.

What kind of snails?

A fighting conch would be good for you. You may need to feed it. That’s a lot of snails.

Stop dosing Nopox. It has nothing to do with diatoms.
It also really does need a skimmer to be effective.

Also , IMO , don’t worry so much about nitrates. The corals you have like them.

A large water change would fix it.
If you have a canister filter , Clean it. That can help too.

I have a super overkill kimmr, and I have had diatoms for around a months. I have 1 living nourite, 3 trokus, 2 astrea and a bunch of China hat snails. Diatoms don't ever seem to go away for me
