Loud noise from BRS dosing pump

Hey guys,
I am using the 50ml per min Brs dosing pump for my ATO and the pump is about 6 months old and pumping a very mild Kalk ( slightly less than 1/2 teaspoon per gal) H2O. The last week it has started making a sound like gears are grinding. The noise only happens when the pump is in a certain position.
Anyone have issues like this before or could give me some advice.

Ya, I had a build up of salt creep / Kalk inside the discharge end in my sump! It was causing a lot of resistance causing the pump to work very hard
