Hi folks!
My overflow gurgle was driving me crazy, so I was looking at videos on how to build a Stockman standpipe. I was just about to run to Lowes to get a few of the items that I didn't have. I already had the PVC pipe, so I simply used a cable tie and wrapped it around the existing pipe in the overflow, to hold the larger piece in place and then placed a larger diameter piece of pvc on top of that, and voila! Quietness! Hope this helps with anyone looking to quiet their overflow!

The video doesn't do it justice, because you can still here the water flowing in the pipes and the water rippling in the tank, but the overflow is almost completely silent
