So wait I just noticed on an older post you said if the planted site calls for 1gram of sodium nitrate to use 16% of that. I made a batch of 1 teaspoon in 20ml of water. Whats 16% of 1 teaspoon? How would I measure that?

I thought I read a post from you a couple years ago saying if you’re using the calculator http://www.theplantedtank.co.uk/calculator.htm since the calculator uses potassium nitrate, and if you’re using sodium nitrate then to mix 16% less. I probably read it wrong or misunderstood it wrong. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m talking about

16% less means use 84% of the recommended amount. If you use a little less than the recommended amount (either less solid to mix the stock solution or less liquid dosed to the tank), it will work fine.
