I just looked at the sb ones your talking about. Very nice scientific story however they bash the competition. I have ran the box top lights over my tank for a while (evergrow) with much success I moved on to the new photons by reef breeders. They claim to have the newest Cree technology. What I like is they are slick and modern. Only 1 inch thick. The wire hanging guides slide and are not fixed. I did have to do some time ahustments. As the factory settings make no sense. I wish the ramp time was in half hour in crimes vs hours. I like to start with just red. Then sunrise with just green. Then moon to blue and tweet with three hours of white. I fond that if you ramp evenly all the colours. Like 10 red 10 blue. 10 violet 10 deep blue 10 white and 10 ultra gives you the best blend. I cap at 75. These lights are strong. I ramp down with all chanel except white then to moon and an hour of red. I will say this if it helps. I have owned the 800 series acan led. Great lights. The xr 15 radions with reef link. The hydra fifty 2's and returned them. Orphek (half size) sold a week after rrying out and I must say. The photons are candy to my eyes. I stare at them as much as my corals. Hope this helpsWhat's the difference between reef breeders vs sbreefs? I'm trying to pick out a light that's going to give my coral nice color too
Fyi. The pink scroll coral was the size of a dime and grew to this size with evergrow
