Love rock spewing clear strands not vertemid

So my rock I got a few weeks back is spewing tons of crap across my tank. There's no noticeable vertemid snails anywhere but the amount of clear stringy crap across my tank is like a cup per day any ideas?

We have the same thing on some of our and cannot remember the name of it. It sends out some webbing when you feed or really stir the tank up.

Look for something coming off the rock that looks like a tiny bent pencil or a small feather duster tube.
I’m sure someone will reply with the name of it

Usually it is indicative to a bacterial bloom, especially considering it is new rock. Skimming, patience or UV will clear it up.

The rock was suppose to be fully cured and it smelled fine. I added a bottle of biospira how long before you think this nuclear war is over with?

A couple of weeks. It’ll burn itself out. In the meantime, you need to increase your oxygenation to account for the loss in oxygen that bacteria blooms bring on.
