Lovemycj7's Red Sea Reefer 350 Build Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also getting close to 4 weeks for my white tail. Really want to give it more room to swim as I know the QT is cramping its style. After a slow start getting used to people and food slowing getting less scared of people though still skittish (vision is amazing can see someone coming from a mile away) but now eats very well and pretty much anything.

Got some pics of the tenants today. White tail tang starting to come out more when I'm around but still ready to bolt in a flash. I am amazed at the size of openings between the rocks this guy can get between.

If I had to guess I would say after reading your list of pipes and fittings you might be an engineer or something very detail orientated.[emoji38] I think the list is great bud. Keep the pics coming the tank is looking great my friend, how ya liking those gyres? I noticed that you had them pretty low on the %of flow.

Lol nailed it. The gyres are awesome and much better fit running these at 50% max now and getting great flow sps have nice pe. Did you get the new build up yet?

Im not sure if you mentioned this in this thred yet or not but what size of pipe fittings did you use to redo the stock pumbing for the sump?

first post page 1 my friend very detailed list of all plumbing

The reason why i ask is because i have a xl425 and noticed that the stock plumbing isnt a standard size and was wondering if anyone knew what size of diameter pipes to use? Ive looked in the big box hardware stores and cannot find the right diameter.

What did you do with the ATO?
