If I were setting up a tank like this knowing I have a big one going up soon, I think I would focus on fish I either couldn't keep or would be hesitant to keep in a larger tank. For me that would be some smaller "higher end" fish like a helfrichi, maybe a swissguard basslet, yasha goby, etc.

The pump upgrade is simply awesome! I just added it to our Biocube, well worth it.

If your putting it in your 29 gallon Biocube the 1.5 on max will turn your tank over 12x at 357 gph. The 3.0 is 714 gph, that's some serious water!

I wish I could have a mantis shrimp! I think they are so cooloh yes! mine is hilarious... he looks so formidable. But yeah, gobies and jawfish are wicked cool animals for nanos especially! Could possibly do a mantis shrimp though...

one day! If money would allow it we would have so many species only tanks just for the weird stuff I would want like a bobbit worm etc.
