Oh yeah. As far as sand goes should i order the live wet stuff? And if so can i get a recommendation as to what brand?

I've used the live stuff but on my next build I will be using Tropic Eden Reef Flakes, best looking dabs available IMO.

Ok so update time . Got packages upon packages showing up in the next week so i can get this cube running finally!! Ill post pics of the new toys and the progress of startup as soon as they arrive . Its a very exciting time. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!

Ok so its christmas time again at my house!!! Got my reeflakes, rock (very large nice pieces), and a few things i was needing . My salt will be here tomorrow so i can actually get this cube running. Super excited. Time to start working on my rockscape

Got stuff floating all over hell. My circulation pump keeps blowing the propeller apart . Whats the best way to get the debris thats blowing around out? I cleaned the tank best i could but looks like alge that got knocked loose as well as particles from the rock n sand.

I also cant get the false floor out of compartment 1. Lots of stuff caught under that trap door but i cant get it out. Any suggestions?

Ok tank is looking good. My shrimp seems to have cooked during the first day but its around 77.5-78 degrees constantly now. Ammonia test for 0ppm and ph at around 7.8 after a week of running. Glass needs some love but here it is. Still cant figure out why the circ pump keeps blowing itself apart

A bit of an update. Got a bit of life in here now. Battling with some turf algae i believe but im working to get it under control.
