Curious what the group thinks here of my Alk and calc consumption for my mixed reef. I keep it at about 8.2 dkh, 450 calc, and 1350 mag. I dose ESV Bionic of about 10ml a day to keep these levels of the two part but my magnesium dosing is a bit higher. ESV recommends dosing 25ml of their two part for an estimated ~100g water volume of my system. Any ideas? Mainly concerned about stunted growth or decaying coral health. I’ve noticed some Euphyllia tissue recession (I would say about 1-2mm with the flesh extending down the head about 1”) and this just had me thinking. See attached for a photo of the tank to give an idea of stocking.

To add, testing is done via a trident and continuous dosing via the DOS with the amount dosed being over a 24 hour period. No swings in the parameters really more than .01dkh or 10-15ppm calc/mag.

I would dose to maintain alkalinity levels, not what the bottle suggest. Seems to me that you are doing it right. It will likely take some time before corals and coralline algae take off. Then your consumption will increase rapidly. I hope your euphyllia makes it.
