Low alk in new setup

Thanks for the help Randy. I might start off manually dosing but my work schedule can get pretty crazy so I know eventually I'd screw up somewhere.

Then you can put some small amount of calcium hydroxide into it, or even a normal alk only supplement if you want, instead of a dosing pump.

Sorry to bring this back up but I've been doing some research and have a couple questions. Do you think I could start dosing kalk and see if it brings alk and cal to the right levels or should I bring alk up first so they match and then start doing kalk?

get all levels correct, then start kalk. It doses equal parts alk and calc, so get those levels where you want them then start kalk
