Low ALK in Reef Crystals

Has anyone ever had low alk in reef crystals?

I have had to dose my tanks to bring them up above 7. I started wondering what the heck was going on as alk was low even after a WC. Decided to check my mixing can and found the alk is less than 6 dkh. I'm baffled because alk is supposed to be high right?

Anything I am doing wrong? Maybe a bad batch?

Try mixing the salt... it may have stratified so the alk component is in the bottom or container.
