so I ran out of tests and didn't want to blindly dose, along with the crazy holiday time, guess you could call it laziness too. I manually dose right now and didn't dose for almost 12 days and my alk went down to 5.5 give or take. I noticed some stn on a couple of my colonies, so could the low alk cause the stn to start? I'm bringing it back up to its normal range between 7.5 and 8.5 colors on corals look great and unaffected just the stn, just wondering if the low alk is the most likely culprit.
