Low alk with tropic marin?

My alk is 7.1 with tropic marin is that too low? Should i raise it? Or if its stable its good?

when i do water changes i dose the salt mix to meet my tank alk level..usually my tropic marine pro salt mixes around 7.8 so don't have to dose much

If it's stable and there are no ill effects it's fine. If you search on here you will find tanks from 7 (perhaps even lower) all the way up to 12 that thrive.

I just tested my alk and it 7.1 with the hanna checker. I use tropic marin pro salt is that normal?

I run my SPS dominate tank at 7.2. I find SPS, specifically acro's, do much better at near NSW levels.
