My tank finally completed cycling couple of weeks ago. I added a pair of clown fish. Was planning on adding corals, but when I checked the parameters the Alkalinity is 6.7dkh (tested using Hana, multiple reagents) and calcium is at 480ppm (salifert test). What's the best way to bring dkh up and calcium down? I'm using Instant Ocean Reef Crystals.
55g with 15g sump.

You will just need to get an alkalinity supliment to raise it and a good target is 8-8.5dKH

Your calcium isn’t bad there so maybe just let it drop with water changes depending on what the salt mixes to.

Also check your magnesium as this affects how the elements interact and is vitally important. I keep mine 1300-1350.

Thanks , I get the alkalinity supplement, and will also invest in a magnesium test kit.

You can use just baking soda.

The alk likely got depleted from cycling. The conversion of ammonia to nitrate depletes alkalinity.
