Fellow reefers,
Just trying to figure out of what would be the lowest cost for DIy for 2 parts Sodium Carbonate other than purchase from brs or make my own by putting baking soda in oven?

Thanks

I buy baking soda one pound boxes at discount grocery stores. In my area Aldis and Save a Lot have them and they cost 50-60 cents. At around 100mls dosed per day you're looking at a yearly cost of approx $10-12 a year.

I buy mine at the grocery store. Its food grade so thats good. Like 1$ a box. Arm and hammer brand. Make sure it says just sodium bicarbonate.

If the oven is an issue, you can buy washing soda (sodium carbonate) at a grocery store or hardware store, but it doesn't necessarily have food grade assurances (but might be just as good).
