Hello Reefers!!

Flow has been one of my ongoing issues. To much flow? Less flow? Side flow? Idk..

I recently just got two Nero 5 power heads. I do enjoy the flexibility with the app . I can have the flow slow down at night around 35% when Max flow is normally around 70% during the day. the question is should I turn my flow down to 35% when the lights are off ?I’ve seen others reefers do this but is this a best practice? Is it beneficial?

- What does your flow schedule look like ? - - What’s your lowest % and your max % if you have power heads that are programable?

Let me know :)

Anyone know how it is in the ocean? Would be nice to simulate if it really does calm down during night

It seems most of you so far keep flow the same and @JAMSOURY I think the ocean would be the same depending on the weather. Just a guess tho.

I would think so too. But at the beach the waves do tend to be a little more stronger. I could be wrong and it could be way different deep down than what’s on the surface
