Low(ish) nitrates but high phosphates

What type and kind of light do you have over your Chato and what hours do u run it.

Running a Tunze 3181 chaeto reactor. Tried time ranging from 4 hours to 20 hours with varying flow, chhaeto from different sources, etc. and every time it melted. Not sure the issue but leaning towards trying to convert the ATO compartment in my sump into a fuge and trying that with a Kessil.
