Hi quit new to this hobby. I have a Vertical wall in my rockwork. It has a sar polyp on the top so it is in low or indirect lighting What choices do I have besides Zoas and star polyps? Duncans are not suitable as it is a vertical wall with a bit of an overhang.

Cheers

Have had a look at Cyphastrea coral and am exited to find they hace some branching types also. Aparently they are an undervalued coral type as aparently when you put then in your tank they go a very bland colour so people get rid of them But wait a few weeks and they will colour up a lot and respond to your lighting spectrum The ones I have seen in real life are really beutifull so thanks for putting me on the right track guys:)

Check out some of the variety of Cyphastrea that Legendary Corals carries in stock. Good prices for beautiful corals. I’ve purchased from them a few times and have had great luck with their stuff and have been impressed be the coral health and colors.

Thanks Jaax, but I am in Western Australia. There are lots here abouts. I am buying a piece about 2 ins square for $23 US of the same type as the pic

Cynarina, mine is shaded by an overhang and gets no direct light, my blue channel is only 45% at 15 inches height from water lvl, 630mm of water and on the substrate and white channel at 1% on my box stock Vipars. They really seem to love really low flow and light.
