My pH is usually between 8.0 and 8.2 depending on the time of day. On Wednesday I added a bag of pods (Algae Barn 5280 pods) into my 32 Red Sea. Since then, the PH has been between 7.85 and 7.95.

I have been feeding the live Phytoplankton (ocean magik). I do have a bit of a GHA issue. Are the pods feeding and dropping the PH? Does this make sense?

I don't think the pods are having a substantial pH effect. The live plankton might if the pH of its dosed solution is very low or it is dying in the tank and producing CO2.

Might also just be coincidence, and really be driven by something else.
