Hi im new to the saltwater/reef Hobby, ive had my tank up and running for 5 weeks now I've done a lot of research before i even thought about starting my tank ive done everything pretty much by the book and some out of the book, ever since i started my tank my pH has never seen a pH at or above 8.o, the highest pH ive gotten is 7.95 except when i dose 2 part, ( i dont dose much 2 part because i dont have corals to consume it) it will spike up to 8.01 and then graddualy drop back down with in an hour or two. I've also ran my skimmer air inlet with a hose outside of my house and it improved a little but not by much previous to that the pH was in the 7.6 and 7.7 range Im going crazy please some one help
