I have a DD300 display with a 220 basement sump , now this is all located in a room with my furnace (new in 2017) and this room is open to my basement so it is not enclosed , i have a massive Bubble Magus skimmer with the air lines going to a pipe outside for fresh intake air. With the A/C on my PH drops to 7.84 at night and only climbs to about 7.92 or so during the day , now with the doors and windows open i can get upwards of 8.2 - 8.3
My question : is there something else i can do to increase my PH to a little more stability ?

For me I have always had my best luck with a trickle filter. I have tried the newer sumps with one over flow and socks and it did not create enough oxygen in the water. Having the drip tray and bio balls to me are awesome at adding oxygen to the water.

What is your Alk and dosing method? Increasing alkalinity can increase pH a little bit. On my tank, dosed wtih B ionic 2 part, an Alk of 7 leads to a pH7.7-8.2, whereas an Alk of 10 leads to a pH of 8.0-8.4

Alk is 8.7 and running a calcium reactor also dosing Kalkwasser with dosing pump 600ml daily
