Why is my po4 low and no3 high and what is the solution to it.
po4 0.3/0.4 And no3 is 0.23/0.26
150+ gallon tank

Feeding heavy frozen and pallets tank is Sps only 2 yers up

Is that ppm? If so, you phosphates are high and your nitrate is incredibly low

Yes it is ppm

So typically people try to keep phosphate below 0.1 and above 0.03 and nitrate >5 or so (some run less but that is not very common)

Are you sure you have typed the figures correctly as 0.23 for nitrate is extremely low and your PO4 is extremely high, have you got the decimal point in the wrong place.

What does your filter consist of, just sump, skimmer, refugium? Chaeto should be growing pretty fast, do you need to thin it often?
