Hi everyone,
I just filled my Fusion 20 up yesterday with water, mixed salt in while it was in the tank (don't have room to keep a brute full of saltwater), and then added rock and sand. Unfortunately, before adding the sand and rock, I didn't check my salinity to ensure it was where I wanted it to be..
With that, my salinity is sitting right around 30 ppt and would like it at 34 ppt. Can I just add salt very slowly to raise it or do I risk salt sitting in the sand bed and screwing with my salinity later on when I vacuum the sand bed?
Additionally, while I am working on my salinity, can I start my cycle? Using Dr. Tims method..

Thanks all!

I would think the tunze will create enough flow so it isn't an issue. I've heard of people mixing salt in their tank during setup before livestock is added

A 2g or 5g bucket will also work to mix/keep saltwater. That's what I have. How will you manage water changes once you have livestock? I ask because adding salt directly to a tank with livestock is risky, even to a sump.

I will use a 5g bucket for water changes. However, I didnt want to have to mix 4 different 5 gal buckets separately to fill the tank so I mixed the salt after I added all of my rodi into the tank.
