Low Salinity Saltwater tank

My tanks been cycling for 3 days now, I'm notching tiny string white things growing from the live rock and some diamtoms. My salinity been 1.018, will the tank still cycle?

I don't think that would be a problem just after the cycle you should bring up the salinity

Just top off with saltwater daily until you reach the desired specific gravity.
