Low salinity

33 to 35 is recommended but one can run a system at 30 ppt Hyper salinity is hard on the fish.

Short term, not much. Some of these corals are from tidal areas where freshwater runoff can change the salinity quickly, but not for long. Plenty of people have had this happen when an ATO went crazy, but they quickly rectified it.

STN should follow, then RTN. Growth will slow to nothing. Depending on how healthy everything is when you start will determine how long it will take to see any issues.
