Newbie question. I haven't hooked up my ATO yet and my water depletes about 1-1.5 gal per day. I have also noticed some salt creep here and there. I added some new RODI and checked my salinity. It was down to 1.022. I would understand it being higher due to the water evaporation but why would it be lower? Salt creep or am i missing something?? Also is there any way to avoid or deminish salt creep? (New 65g JBJ AIO, w/hob skimmer and refugium. Cycling with 2 damsels)

Where are you getting the salt creep?
On the hob refugium and my lighting arms but it's minimal

Skimmate is another potential loss of salt. Also, are you positive you don't have any leaks?
With a 1.5 gallon loss and dropping salinity, I'd be worried about a leak before anything else
