Hi there,

After finding out that my refractometer was 5ppt off and thinking I was making 35ppt water, i was actually only making 30ppt water. My tank is 75gal with about 15 gal sump, I have an ATK in the basement for ATO. I have read that the best way is for me to put 35ppt water in my ATO holding tank. If I do that, do I need to put a small power head in there to keep it circulating? As of right now, the container of RODI top off water just sits still with no movement.

Or should I perform a few water changes as a higher salinity to reach my target of 35ppt.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

If I get into a lower than what I like tank salinity I over fill my sump so my ATO stays off for a few days.
