After much thought I decided to plumb a 50g Low boy to my 187g Peninsula. Tank will be loaded with mostly higher end SPS.

For plumbing im keeping it super simple with 1/2in push connect return and a 1in overflow. For flow im still undecided but thinking a gyre

For lighting im thinking a 48in Reef Breeders Photon V2+

Live stock: Sixline wrasse, yellow eye kole tang, and 2 dragonface pipefish.

The scariest part was drilling this thing as I have never drilled a tank before. After doing it I feel pretty good and wasn't as hard as I expected.

Getting a little closer. Just waiting for 1 more bulk head for the return to come hopefully by Wed and it should be up and running.
