lower Calcium level

My tank ALK drops at a rate around 1.25 dKH a day. My current calcium level is around 580 ppm. Is it ok to use doser to only dose ALK (Randy's #2 receipt) to maintain 1.25 dKH consumption/day and wait the Ca level to be dropped?
