Lower calcium

any ideas to lower calcium? My DIY rock is raising the calcium higher than my Red Sea test kit will measure (500). I did a 20% water change with no results. ALK was low 5 dkh so I have been raising it slowly.

That’s the way to go. Water changes and increase your alkalinity to reduce your calcium, plus are you using magnesium? Magnesium helps to balance calcium and alkalinity levels.
Take your time with adjusting calcium and alkalinity levels.

I have not checked Magnesium. I will start checking that today. Thanks for the info!
