I have a 20 long reef and adjust the calcium and dkh. One is low and the other is high. Calcium is 320 and dkh is 9.6 both taken with salifert test kits. I bought reef fusion 2 part from Seachem. Anyone care to help me out in how to adjust it with this. Never dosed before lol

Dkh is within limits. Which salt brand are you using?

Reef crystal. I do 5 gallon water changes weekly and mix my water to 1.025

Calc is 320 and you use reef crystals? Hmm... I do my water changes religiously with the same salt and my calc usually tests around 360 or so when I put it in the tank. 360 is too low for my liking, so I started dosing esv b iconic 2 part. Maybe you got a bad batch of salt??

As for dosing, you can dose calc without the dkh, but dont do it for too long. Also, whats your magnesium at? That needs to be at a correct level to maintain a proper calc level.

If you start using the 2 part, make sure youre dosing magnesium as well or **** will get outta whack.

Id get a bottle of mag and the test kit at the same time. Im no expert, but id say your mag is low an thats why your dkh/calc levels arent where they should be..
