I done a water change and must of misread the salinity So now my tank is 1.026 instead of 1.025 but my parameters are already high not with more salt there’s more calc all etc I’ve lowered the salinity quickly (over and hour) will this effect my sps I only have Monti cap and birds nest atm

You're fine. I run my mixed reef at 1.026. It actually has been doing much better than it was at 1.024.

If you're concerned about it, just slowly add RODI as topoff daily until you get it to where you want.

Yeah I will eventually run mine at 1.026 but I had a bad salt mix with parameters like calc 500 an magnesium 1500 so higher salinity for me drives these numbers even higher I’m trying to get them down with Fritz now

Those parameters aren't that way off. I think you'll be ok lowing slowly. Maybe take some water (depending on size of your tank) out of tank and replace with RODI every day. That may help.

+1 on NOT making any sudden changes to a tank as most corals and fish can adjust if given time. There are other critters that are super sensitive to changes in salinity like shrimp that need even more time cuz they don’t osmo regulate.
