Hi all:

I'm redoing my nano to be only LPS and soft corals/mushrooms. The mixed reef just didn't seem to work out with my LEDs (either too much/too little light depending on the coral).

2 AI Nanos, placed approximately 12" over the waterline (though this could be adjusted if not wise -- should it be higher/lower?).
Settings: 25% White, 50% blue, 50% royal blue. Lights run for about 9 hours with a two hour ramp up. (Is this a good intensity level?)

Does this seem like a reasonable placement plan:
Top 1/3 (starting 16" below the light to 22" below the lights): chalices
Second 1/3 (22-30" below the lights) acans, ridordea, euphylia
Bottom 1/3 mushrooms
Zoanthids: based upon "type" probably some higher, some lower.

Does this seem like a reasonable layout?

Thanks for any advice!

Sounds good to me. If you see zoas and shrooms "reaching" for light you can lower the light or increase the intensity.
