What types of lps and softies will do ok in higher par? I would like to add something other than just sps up high in the tank.

Even if they it doesnt thrive, how about a recommendation of something that will do OK.

I keep my LPS and softies from 150-400 par.

What lights and intensity to you run?

Start them low and move them up. You will know if they dont like it as they will show affects...softies will close up and melt in some cases...LPS will retract into the skeleton to hide from the light.

They are all pretty hardy corals, with the exceptions of course so just take it slow and you should be ok.

There are a handful of softies from the Caribbean that thrive in high light, corky finger etc.
Devils hand leather, a few other leathers too.

I don’t keep many lps, but ime euphylia after a bit of acclimation will handle anything upto at least 400 par. Some Goniporas and alveoporas will also do the same.

Euphyllia do well in high lighting. I’ve never had a fussy one.

Acans will do great in high light but their coloration will generally be much more varied in lower light. Also euphylia as mentioned and my maze brain loves it up top. The best grower in high light has been my bowerbanki. It's one of my more recent additions, and despite getting half eaten by a chalice when I first got it, it is now one of my largest corals. I put 1/2 a head directly under a hydra 26 and it not only recovered, it has a dozen gigantic heads now.

I would provide a long acclimation to lighting before moving Acan or Micromussa, Chalice before placing in higher par under LED.
