SPS junkies are always going on over polyp extension, but its nothing compared to the feeding responses of LPS corals.
I'm always amazed how at the slightest hint of food in the water and my brains transform in a few short minutes.

@droblack - Those are awesome...I had to do a double take on the War Coral - they almost look like a very nice zoa...
 
Any else have the alien invader pectinia? I just took a look at mine and I swear it has 2-3 inch tentacles out. I can't get a good pic so I was hoping somebody else can confirm this. Loving this thread

Yes they do get very very long.
