My water perimeters are

alkalinity- 8.7dKH
Calcium- 440
Magnesium-1300
Phosphates- .07
Iodine-0.06 ppm
PH-8.3

I purchased this coral pictures below a couple of weeks ago. It has been doing well but only one part of it has been starting to shrivel up and show skeleton.
I would like some knowledge on the identity and name of the coral. Also if someone can help me on how to revive and help bring this one side of my coral back to life!!

thank you.

That's a blastomussa. It does look pretty close to that ricordea mushroom and may be getting stung when they are fully opened. Is it retracting where they would contact?

The picture makes it seem closer then they are. I have been moving the coral for the past week or so trying to find a better spot but still looking the same. It isn’t making contact with anything else. But if it was to touch the mushroom it seems like that is where it would touch. Here is a pic of the coral 3 weeks ago.

Blastomussa. Stop moving it so much, corals hate that. Shift it an inch or two further away from the mushrooms and leave it alone for awhile.

Also, Blastos are a low to medium light and flow coral. Typically a hardy coral, just don't give it high intensity light or blast it with flow.

They appreciate being fed once or twice a week, so try that if you aren't already.
