So, I bought a small system a while back and this coral came with it. The seller claimed it was a Hollywood Stunner chalice, which clearly it's not. I don't think it's even a chalice, looks more like a tubinaria to me. BUT, the polyps have never opened. It's quite large and is steadily growing though. Sorry for the bad picture, I should done it with manual settings. It's blue/green in colour (like a dark teal I guess).

Any ideas?

Thanks! My other tubinaria is a large polyp variety (almost looks like a duncan), and the polyps clearly open up. Do some varieties just not open in the same way, or is this one just not terribly happy?

they do have different polyps, yours looks like doing great ,seeing lots new growth in pic tubes are rising from what i can see :)
