went to my LFS recently and saw these two guys that hitch hiked on some other corals. my first impressions are plate/fungia. is this correct?

yep probably the types that make small buddings and drop them. The bubble algae would be a complete turn off for buying the coral for me though

Beautiful plate and fairly hardy coral

are there different sub-species of plate corals? i only ever really knew of the long tentacle plate and non-long tentacle..

edit: the first picture seems puffier with less tentacles whereas the second has more and is more “flowy”
