So I bought this coral the other day just because I hadn't seen it before. Some type of cool pattern lps, what exactly it is would be nice to know.

The aiptasia are part of the reef

That's as large as they get, so I don't think it's either of those. It has such a distinctive pattern with those inner 7 or so polyps that are different from the rest. There's gotta be an lps expert in this huge community that has encountered these before that can give me a 100% positive ID.

Ya I've had it for around 4 years now. Got him when it was maybe an inch long since he was a little different for being a missbarred gold striped Maroon. Just took this pic as psycho (the Dragon eel) came out for a pic with him.
