LPS in fishless tank?

I am wanting to get into LPS corals but my main tank has some questionable inhabitants of being reef safe.

Will I have long-term success at keeping LPS in a fishless tank provided perimeters are on par lighting Etc. And I spot feed more than one to two times a week to make up for the lack of fish waste?

Don't see why it won't work given above husbandry.
